It's been a while

Sorry kids... Life has been a bit hectic as of late and I haven't dedicated enough time to my blog. Hopefully that will change. I do have some happy crafting news.. I've started selling some frames. WooHoo. I even have an offer to place some on consignment at a local coffee shop. It's all quite exciting.

I think I've mentioned before that I'd also like to start a line of greeting cards but that is on the back burner for the moment. I've gotten some made and they look super cool but I'm trying to find a cheaper route. The cards aren't that expensive to have made but I haven't found anyone who makes them in house so the shipping fee is the problem. I want to be able to price them in a way that people will purchase them not just look at them and say 'Oooo those are nice' and then hand them right back!

I'm realizing that by doing my arts and crafts it makes me a better person. I feel better and seem more relaxed after I've worked on them. I think my husband and kids like me better this way.

I've also started an on-line book club for my FaceBook friends. I'm excited about that. I hope that it sticks. It will give me a reason to read!

Well, that's my creative side in a nutshell recently... Forgot to mention the Altered book Round RObin I'm involved in as well. Those are always fun!
